DocNest turns the pile of receipts and documents you're hanging onto
into something you can actually search — on your iPhone, with text recognition that
runs entirely on the device.
What it does
- Scan and it reads itself. Point your camera at a receipt and DocNest
pulls out the vendor, date, total and tax automatically.
- File it your way. Folders, tags, notes, and flags for reimbursable
or tax-deductible.
- Find it later. Full-text search across every word recognized in every
document, with filters for type, amount and tax status.
- Build expense reports. Group receipts into a named report and export
it as a PDF.
- Track gift cards. Record a starting balance and link receipts to watch
it draw down.
- Never miss an expiry. A calendar view surfaces documents with expiry
dates before they lapse.
Your documents stay yours
Text recognition uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. Your document images are
never sent to any text-recognition, machine-learning, or AI service. There is no
tracking, no analytics SDK, and no advertising. You can permanently delete your account
and everything in it from inside the app at any time.
